Mailbox stove

Here is an example of what you can do in an emergency to stay warm and cook some food.

Take a mailbox and turn it on its side. Take a length of electrical EMT tubing and make a ‘U’ shaped stand. Pound the ends into the ground. I used a section of gutter to make the smoke stack. I also added a few more skrews to the base folds to make it more air tight.

Copper wire is used to secure the stove and smoke stack. In this configuration you’re able to utilize the flat surface to cook on. Make sure to burn all the paint off before using.
